TRANSPORT NORTH AMERICA

They've been mentioned a couple times in other threads, but without a definitive answer. I now have proof that they are double brokers.

Booked a load with them, dispatch Amanda couldn't provide any updates all day, talking about traffic and such but never able to give me a location on the driver. Reposted the load on the Link, called a carrier, who called me back later saying Transport North America was looking for a truck on the same load.

Safe to say if a driver shows up at my client's today we'll book with the carrier direct. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We have had major issues with them and they have double brokered at least 3 of our loads. They held our freight hostage, demanding that we pay prior to delivery eventhough we did not know the location of our freight and when it finally delivered it was 7 days late!

They just double brokered one of our loads.
After 2 weeks of tracing the load & getting updates, they tell us today they had brokered it out & gave me the new carrier name then said they're not respoonsble now. When I spoke to this new carrier he said he was holding that freight because of previous payment not made by North America Transport.
Definitely would advise to stay away from these scumbags.

Classic case of what can go dramatically wrong when a load is double brokered. It is a minefield of potential trouble.
