It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of our co-founder and president of the company, Mr. Alain Vachon. He passed suddenly, Thursday October 12th, of a massive heart attack at the age of 56.
The family has decided to slowly close the company over the next few weeks. We will be working to bring back the driver that are on the road and will be respecting the engagements that were taken recently.
People, when you are not feeling well, PLEASE consult. Better to bother your doctor for nothing ...

My sincere condolences.
Lost a friend/coworker the same way. He came to work not feeling well but gritted it out before leaving a little early. He was gone the next day. Tough as an ox too.

My sincere condolences for your loss, and as others have posted, don't try and work through something when you're not well, but let me add this. GET AN ANNUAL CHECKUP! No one likes to do that, myself included, but here's my cautionary tale. I woke up Sept. 5th feeling great, had some issues with a truck, called my garage to see when they could get it in, went out to the yard at 10am feeling great and had a massive heart attack at 10:15am. My 1st ride in an ambulance, they made a quick stop in Belleville to stabilize my heart then a lightning fast ride to KGH in Kingston where they did an emergency angioplasty. I had one artery 100% blocked and another at 70%, docs said I literally had minutes left when I got there.

Yet I felt great 10 minutes before it started. Life is strange, it's a day by day deal right now (as well as dealing with the MTO who snatched my licence ASAP), get yourselves checked out regularly and hug your loved ones.
