Long story..... Really long story Short:
I was proactive with this receiver, got there receiving hours, faxed over the paper work and told them the arrival time of my truck.
9 Skids temperature controlled took 48 hours to unload.
Kept getting told the same story "Waiting for the Mexican truck"
Could not get any insight into the situation not even an expected / scheduled ETA. They didn't even know the truck line coming in to get this freight.
Also their idea of a cold storage cooler is an old beat up yard Reefer trailer, which they were unwilling to transfer the freight to (Can't say I blame them for that now that I think about it).
Also I think they don't like Canadian carriers as a gentleman there kept referring to me as Canadian Truck spoken with this sinister tone in his voice. Perhaps it was the communication gap as his first language is Spanish and mine English.
Needless to say I won't be delivering temperature control freight to these guys anymore. Not worth the time or effort.
