Please stay away from Scotlynn Commodity 255 over due invoice. Did lot of efforts to accomadate with them they file the claim, no responding to our Insurance or to us.
Matter is in the Court now they will end by paying Overdue Invoice with Intrest and Legal charges.
Stay away from this companies for hauling there any load.

Never had to call to get my money from them. Don't do much but every invoice was paid without any issue.

Am I right that there is a freight claim involved in this move? On the contract that you signed before you hauled the load, did you agree to give them the right to "set off"?

There must be more to this... I don't know Scottlynn well... but from the little bit that we've connected over the years... they're a well run, professional company.

I think there are more layers to this that what's mentioned in the initial post.

Without getting into the sordid details, I too am somewhat suspicious of this Rangi Bros post. I find it ironic that they would be complaining about how a freight claim is handled after the unpleasant experience we had with them, a year or so ago. Lets just say that this isn't their first time before the courts for such matters.

I have to agree with everyone on this. We haven't run into any payments issues with Scottlynn as of yet.

So, did the contract you signed with Scotlyn provide them with the right to set off invoices?

They don't mind double brokering loads...............just dumped them on some business they were doing for us regularly. I'm sure it is not a regular occurrence for them but one employee doesn't have issues with it.
