All resolved guys. Spoke to Simon and came to an agreement.
that does not seem out of line
With the Newfoundland ferries and the fact that you really need to charge both ways, the $2900 may not be out of line? I haven't heard the name for a while but back when I did I never heard anything negative.
WOW, well. We usually haul for them and have never had an issue. It seems a little high to me but it all depends on what he had to pay the truck/driver. Was it his truck or did he broker it out? If he brokered it, he's probably added a few bucks for him too. Also, driving in NF is not like driving on the 401. What was the ferry schedule? They may have had to wait around too... you might want to call and discuss this. Did they discuss it with you or did they just invoice without any discussion?
I guess issue might not be the right word to use. They've done work with me for the last years no problems.
Recently did a load for me to Newfoundland and customer did not notify me of the address change. They are now charging $2900 to deliver a shipment from Forteau, NL to Deer Lake, NL. 5 hour drive there plus the ferry.
We work with them quite regularly. What kind of issue are you having?
Anyone have history with them?
Have an issue with them and just want to see if it's normal for them.
