Here is another one to place on everyones DNU list. We had them on a load picking up in Toronto last Friday for delivery on Tuesday into northern Quebec. Status calls on Friday and Monday were all answered with, "on schedule, no problem for Tuesday delivery. On Tuesday, that status call was answered with "oh, we have had a truck problem, can we delivery on Wednesday, mid morning"? As you have probably already guessed, later on Tuesday afternoon, we received a call from the shipper telling us the load was still sitting in Toronto. Needless to say, the dispatcher at this marvelous outfit, a Michael Hyrsko, has not responded to any further calls from our office. Unbelievable!!!!

It does make one wonder. If the p/u wasn't done on Friday for whatever reason, why make things worse by lying to us on Monday and Tuesday? If the dispatcher was so misinformed that he actually believed they had the shipment on board when they didn't, then that is a sign of a company so poorly run that the lying doesn't really matter. Again....unbelievable!

Reminds me of a oversize shipment I did back in the days.
The freight never left Montreal area in the 2 weeks I got the updates and ETAs. At one point I had the cell phone of the driver who of course never answered my calls or text. 2 weeks! Crew waiting on site and everything. Fun times! We have to be a bit brain damage to love working in our industry I guess....:p
