They cost me my customer also. They refused to admit they messed up my freight, had to put in a 3rd party claim with their insurance they are still denying it even with the pics and adjuster seeing the damages. They were calling looking for money told them when the claim is settled and I get paid you get paid. That's when it got real nasty, they can swear real good let me tell you we had to get the cops involved cause of the threats. I think they get the hint now!!

Anyone ever have any dealings with KBT, 250 Clarence St. Unit 7, Brampton? They took a load from us to Calgary and are now refusing to deliver until they get more money, one of the reasons being that they want waiting time for the delivery, when it has not even delivered. Any help would be appreciated.

I dealt with KBT about a year ago. He arrived for the pick up 5 hours late, then made me pay $ 1000.00 for an additional skid they had put on. He then arrived 5 days late, damaged freight in the truck, driver backed into receiver door and ripped off all the railings. On top of this, I found out he had hired another carrier to pick up the freight.
After the claims / damages, he called me several times over the next year threatening to send people to the office, on top of several other threats. Nothing ever transpired and he cashed the cheque for the final amount after the claims.
I would be very cautious of this company. He spent the next year trying to find our freight so he could hold it.

Check their insurance and authorities. The load for me had to pick up in Buffalo and they told me they were picking it up till I noticed they didn't have interstate authorities. This is when they had already hired a US company to pick it up for them.

If you only knew...I have psoted previously regarding these idiots. They used to be called ABC till they ran that in the ground and started KBT. No factoring company will touch them now. They cost me a customer and I had to get police involved several times for harassment and threatening my life and the lives of people here and they're families. After a visit from police I have not heard from them.

The lesson here is (which KBT also taught me) is never give your freight to the 1st unknown caller or the cheapest unknown caller. Give the guys you know a few mins to call or maybe search them out. We run the same lanes as KBT and i've cleaned up more then one of there messes for people i've delt with for years.

We made use of them a year ago, what a joke. All-Loads says don't touch. We survived relationship with client but that was an amazing feat in itself. We gave them round trip to Edmonton, who could screw that up ? KBT ! Of course, we brought them in after Grand made a mess...those are loads that make you wonder why we do this

I wish I had checked here first, they have our load now and we cant get a straight answer. It was supposed to be delivered first thing Monday 29/09 in Edmonton and Calgary. After reading the posts here on KBT I fear it may not even deliver this week. Our customer is desperate for the goods as they are needed for production.
I am just starting to get a lot of western canada freight and we are finding it hard to get good carriers to do it.

Try Onroute Freight they do a great job to AB,SK,MB never late on a supply chain or western grocers 2am del appointment. As for KBT you're learning the lesson the hard way, may I suggest you try and get them to give you the drivers cell number. I had the same problem as you & every call was "don't worry, no problem" and you're right there is a good chance it's still in Ontario until they get a load built.

You will not get a straight answer they are just idiots. If you get a cell # it will not work. If Link doesn't help tell Balvir you are going to call the police and report the load stolen and call his insurance company. He will get really hyper and might swear at you alot and make threats but it's all talk. And if you don't get a straight answer call your local police dept. That is what I had to do Waterloo Regional and Peel are familiar with these morons.
