Isaac Instruments

The place were I worked at prior had it. We had it for 3 years before I left, and I was kind of involved with all the making it work with our TMS and Isaac. all worked fantastic if you want to invest in that technology.

Other that the few glitches because we had the first technology and we were kind of a dummy carrier to push it to the limit. I was not even close to the limit when I left couple months ago. When I spoke to my old boss, almost all trucks were installed. My test drivers were really loving it as it gave them all the info needed at fngertip. (mind you we were still at the call me when you are at shipper and done so we can shout to you the information :))

We were using Shaw since 2015 and not happy with it at all. We tested Isaac on 5 units. I would say it’s a great solution. The interface is user-friendly and drivers like it as opposed to Shaw.
Our challenge with ISAAC is that it doesn't integrate with our current TMS and we couldn't use many advanced features like workflow etc.
Also, it is on the pricer side.

Thanks Roadking - that is almost exactly our situation, our Shaw solution has not at all been what was promised to us, particularly the short life cycle of the hardware and ongoing issues with substantitive customer support. One of the reasons we are looking at Isaac's is because their system integrates with our TMS workflow. How did you find your drivers found the Isaac devices in terms of usability etc versus the Shaw devices?

Isaac is easy to use and simple solution. One screen and everything is accessible from there. The backend is also simple to use. The reason we are not going with because our TMS people let us down and they haven't been able to build integration with Isaac in a timely fashion. Along with Telematics, we are also changing our TMS.
Do you mind if I ask what TMS you are using?
I would suggest you also look into BlueTreeSystemsas well if its compatible with your TMS and you are a reefer carrier.
