An original "twin stack Mack with a window in the back"! I bet that heater works great............in the summer!

We are having tremendous success with the all-Detroit drive line, so we're buying Freightliner New Cascadia, and Western Star 5700XE. Bottom line is I get great fuel mileage out of them, and my driver's are super comfortable in them.
My friend at Volvo Corporate keeps trying to convince me to try their offering. I'm sure I'll lose a bet one day and end up with some. I haven't heard anything bad about them.
Of course it goes without saying that whatever brand you buy there are going to be lemons. As long as they are not all lemons, and you get great OEM and dealer support, you should be okay.
Support is where the Peterbilt brand falls short. OEM support is nonexistent and only a handful of dealerships go the extra mile. For the places I run I can only count on Cervus Peterbilt's Hagersville branch and Hunter Peterbilt in the US.

Truck in my avatar is a 1961 Mack B-61. It is out back as well, want to restore it one of these days. Two stick Tri-plex transmission. And a little heater the size of a Kleenex box on the passenger side of the cab. When trucks were trucks, and men were men! lol
I thought so ... we used to have one here. Straight stacks, no mufflers and the driver used to be able to hit all 20 gears between here and the two miles to town ... Used to drive the neighbours nuts ... LOL
