We have 2 positions available (I'd like to fill before March 15th).
Customer Service (posted at the top) and Dispatch (scroll down for the details).
We've recently taken over the 1st floor below our offices and are looking to expand our staff due to our growth. I'm pasting BOTH positions in this thread - reach out to me or HR if you're interested.

Customer Service Representative

General Summary:
provides customer service by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. Initiates and/or implements corrective action as needed in order to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.

Core Functions:


· Build relationship with current and future customer and suppliers.

· Responding to customer inquiries as related to services, and service and general inquiries.

· Ensure that service calls are performed in an accurate and timely manner.

· Keep records of customer interactions or transaction, record details of inquiries, complaints, or comments as well as actions taken.

· Compare disputed services with original requisitions and information from invoices.

· Schedule delivery appointments for customers to accommodate on-time deliveries.

· Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers’ problems.

· Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.

Qualifications:

· 1-2 years’ experience in the trucking industry preferred however not required.

· Strong communication skills in English.

· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.

· Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks at a time.

· Demonstrates ability for problem-solving ability to determine solutions for customers.

· Must be able to work both independently and within team environment

Compensation:

Dispatcher

General Summary: booking of shipments, liaising with suppliers (carriers), tracing pickups. Dispatchers are responsible for keeping records, monitoring daily logs for errors.


Core Functions:

· Maintain and build relationships with current and future suppliers.

· Negotiate best price on behalf of the customer.

· Schedule and coordinate all service calls as calls are received.

· Ensure calls are performed in an accurate and timely manner.

· Schedule delivery appointments for customers to accommodate on-time deliveries.

· Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.

· Oversee all communications within specifically assigned territories.

Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of dispatch experience.

· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.

· Experience with: UFOS, Load Link, Etc.

· Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks at a time.

· Ability to negotiate.

· Must be able to work both independently and within team environment.
