Wow talk about odd customer service from Executive Transportation. They cancelled my first LTL load due to driver having emergency surgery. I am okay with that things happen. They said he would be back near the end of November and when I called with 2 skids from Toronto to GFS Taunton MA they took the load. They were to pickup yesterday 8 to 4pm and I emailed Jordan around 1130am to let me know once picked up. I then called at 350pm when I heard nothing to confirm he had the skids and he said driver was running late and eta is 6pm. I quickly arrange with the shipper that time although they normally don't ship past 4 pm. I followed up last night with an email to make sure driver got loaded and this morning received an email that said
"morning, I didn’t want to P/U lastnight because we stillweren’t sure if driver with blown appendix was going to be able to go, he’snot, I found out yesterday, he’ll be good to go out 12/10, I’m sorry about this"
Why take a load and tell me to change the pickup time if you did not want/or weren't able to pickup ….
I do need a reasonable priced carrier for 2 skids that need to protect from freezing going to GFS in Taunton MA for Thursday delivery this week. If anyone can help me out let me know. Thanks
