Can't get payment for load

I read on the forum that you may be able to advise re our situation.

We did a load for a company and cannot get paid. They keep telling us that when they get paid from the shipper, they will pay us.

Apparently, the shipper isn't paying them as they have some issues between them.

Upon contacting the shipper for payment, they told us that it is between us and the other company so they don't want to pay either.

Is there a definite clause somewhere that I can quote their controller so that we can get payment?

I really do not like the lack of private messaging and who knows how this "notification thing" works.

Thank you for your assistance! The information is great to have.
Hopefully, this will resolve our problem. Currently, the load broker has promised to issue payment so hopefully, I won't have to approach the Shipper at this time.
